A normal day at River Birch Farm for your equine starts at 8:00 am with their morning feeding. Depending on the season and the weather, horses are turned out individually in one of our 10 pastures or dry lots. Stalls are cleaned, water buckets are scrubbed, and hay bags are filled before horses are brought in for their lunch time feeding at 1:00 pm. After lunch, horses may be turned back out into their pasture to spend the rest of their day grazing. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm. Night check is done each night between 10:00 pm and 12:00 am. If any special care is needed, your horse will be tended to individually to ensure they receive the care and attention they need and deserve. You can feel confident that your horse is receiving the highest level of care each day as our full time caretaker is taking care of your horse every day. This daily routine allows us to maintain a consistent level of care, as well as personalized relationships with your horses that give us insight into their daily health and well being.
