Join the River Birch Farm team at Ashland Farm to ring in the new year on the right hoof!

We will be at Ashland for a two day clinic to brush up on your fancy foot work going into 2018. Ride all 3 phases, or choose your weakest link, the choice is up to you! Here’s what we will be working on:

Dressage

2018 Means new dressage tests. Do you know how to ride the movement “A-C two serpentines working trot” or “A-X-H Enter working trot?” We will break down these new movements and learn how to ride them to achieve 8s on those scores with simple but effective exercises for you to take home!

Show Jumping

For many of us winter means limiting the time you have to ride due to lighting and weather which puts a damper on your show jumping schooling. We will work through a few fun grids using only a few jumps that you can take home with you to continue the schooling even without a lot of time or a lot of light.

Cross Country

Ashland Farm has renewed and refreshed their cross country course with some excellent questions for all levels. Whether you are introducing your horse to water and ditches full time or aiming for a Prelim/1* move up, there’s plenty to be done on this new course to challenge your balance, accuracy, and understanding of the technical questions.

Pricing and Structure
(Does not include facility fees.) 

Dressage $35 – Group lessons, combined by test. Max of 4 riders per group. 1.25 hr lesson.
Show Jumping $40 – Group lessons, combined by level. Max of 6 riders per group. 1.5 hr lesson.
Cross Country $60 – Group lessons, combined by level. Max of 6 riders per group. 2-2.5 hr lesson.

Ride in all 3 phases for only $110, including lunch both days!

10:30a – 12:30p N XC
12:30p – 1:00p Lunch Break
1:00p – 3:00p BN XC
3:00p – 5:00 p Amoeba/Tad XC

Please contact Lauren if you have any special requests including adding a new level beyond Training. We reserve the right to combine, change, or add groups as needed. If the clinic fills, a third day may be added to start on Wednesday, Dec 27th. 24 Rider maximum for 2 day schedule. Dressage lesson priority given to participants riding in all 3 phases. Sign up early before clinic fills! No refunds unless clinic is completely cancelled.
